Savishkar-2026 Inauguration

Savishkar-2026′ National-Level Fest Inaugurated at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapura. “Students must integrate ancient wisdom with modern innovation to achieve true progress,” said renowned Yakshagana artiste .Dr. Shivananda Hegde Keremane. He was speaking after inaugurating ‘Savishkar-2026’,  a national-level inter-collegiate technical, cultural, and sports fest organized at the Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK) on Thursday. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hegde emphasized that in today’s technological era, students should not limit themselves to academics but actively participate in cultural and sports activities. “The true celebration of life lies in the fusion of art, technology, and sports. There is no doubt that this institution, rooted in a rural area, will become a global model,” he added. Dr. S. N. Bhat, Academic Director of IMJ Institutions, noted that national-level platforms like these are essential for showcasing student talent. The Principal of the college, Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, delivered the introductory remarks and shared the journey and milestones of the institution. The event, organized under the guidance of Shri Siddhartha J. Shetty, Chairman of IMJ Institutions, witnessed the participation of over 600 students from various colleges across different states. Following the inaugural ceremony, a series of cultural, technical, and sports competitions commenced. The event was attended by: Dr. Varun Kumar,  Chief Coordinator of Savishkar, Prof. Akshata Nayak, Dean of Student Welfare, welcomed the gathering, while Prof. Sookshma Adiga, Cultural Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by student Elisha Bishop. Dr. Nikhila Pai, Head of IQAC, coordinated the formal event. Registered Students form  various institutions, Staff and students of MITK and invited guests were present on the occasion.
