Founder’s Day’ Celebration

Sri K. Jayaprakash Hegde, former Minister of the Government of Karnataka and former Chairman of the Backward Classes Commission, who participated in the program as the chief guest, said, “Building an institution is not an easy task. Sri IM Jayaram Shetty has changed the educational landscape of this area by establishing such a top-notch educational institution in this rural area. Today, it is commendable that it is not limited to engineering alone, but has spread to various fields including science, commerce and nursing, Allied Health, Physiotherapy etc. Students should take Jayaram Shetty’s life as an ideal and always strive for success, and give top priority to environmental protection and emphasize more on social work,” he enthused the students.MNBS Trustees Shri Ram Rathan J. Shetty and Shri Sudhakar Shetty were present on this occasion. Presiding over the program, Shri Siddhartha J. Shetty, President of IMJ Institutions, thanked everyone who contributed to the growth of this educational institution and asked them to continue to join hands to realize their father’s dream. The Academic Director of the institution, Dr. S. N. Bhat, Principals, Vice Principals ,Deans, Heads of Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff and students and Invited guests witnessed this historic moment. A short film of the growth of IMJ from the milestone of 2004 to the present day institution was screened on this occasion.IMJISC Principal Dr. Pratibha Patel welcomed the gathering, Dr. J Prakash, Head of the IS Department and Prof. Roopashree, Vice Principal of the College of Nursing introduced the guests, and Prof. Jennifer Menages, Principal of the College of Nursing, proposed the vote of thanks. Professor Rajeshwari Shetty compered the program.
