Induction Programme for First-Year B.E. Students Held at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology

The Induction Programme for the first-year B.E. students of the 2026–2027 academic year was held with great enthusiasm at the auditorium of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK), Kundapura.
The chief guest of the programme, Mr. Ratnakar Bhat, CEO of KarMic Design Pvt. Ltd., Manipal, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of creativity, continuous learning, and discipline along with technical skills during student life. He urged the students to embrace emerging technologies and strive to become engineers who contribute to the progress of the nation in today’s competitive world.
Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Principal of the college, in his introductory address, spoke about the academic environment, infrastructure, and the various initiatives undertaken by the institution to promote the overall development of students. Dr. S. N. Bhat, Academic Director, encouraged the students to develop clear goals, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude throughout their college journey.
On the occasion, talented students who brought laurels to the institution by securing outstanding marks in the VTU University Semester examinations (University Semester Toppers) were felicitated in the presence of the dignitaries.
Mrs. Sukshma Adiga, Student Welfare Coordinator, welcomed the dignitaries and parents. Mr. Deepak Shetty, Head of Basic Sciences, delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Akshatha Naik, Dean – Training & Placement, introduced the chief guest. Student Pallavi compered the programme.
The programme was attended by the first-year students, their parents, and the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
