Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Conducts Induction Program for First-Year B.E. Students
Kundapur: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK), Kundapur, organized the Student Induction Program for the first-year B.E. students of the academic year 2026–27 with great enthusiasm on Wednesday.
Delivering the inaugural address, Oracle HR Mr. Alexander R. said, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) will not eliminate jobs. Instead, those who know how to use AI effectively will have better career opportunities in the future. Every student should develop not only strong communication skills but also relationship-building abilities and a continuous learning attitude.”
Principal Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde explained the objectives of the institution and said, “Engineering education is essential for finding solutions to society’s pressing challenges. Students should strive to become competent engineers and make meaningful contributions to society.”
Presiding over the function, Dr. S. N. Bhat, Academic Director of IMJ Institutions, advised the students, “Along with acquiring knowledge in your chosen branch of engineering, strive to integrate knowledge from other disciplines and bring laurels to the institution. MITK provides an environment that encourages such holistic learning.”
Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dean of Research, motivated the students by saying, “If you sincerely dedicate yourselves to your engineering studies and practice over the next four years, you can build a bright and successful future.”
Student Welfare Coordinator Mrs. Sookshma Adiga welcomed the dignitaries, parents, and students. Dr. Nikhil Pai, IQAC Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compered by student Alisha.
The event was attended by first-year students, their parents, and the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
