Valedictory of Q-PIER 2026 at Moodlakatte

Honorable Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Sri U.T. Khader, addressed the gathering as the chief guest during the valedictory ceremony of the National Summit on “Quantum Computation, Precision Instrumentation, and Emerging Research Infrastructure” held recently at the IMJ Institutions, Moodlakatte. Speaking on the occasion, Khader emphasized the need for more research in the health sector alongside agriculture. He noted that such research would be instrumental in solving agricultural issues and providing better healthcare services. The Speaker also assured that he would discuss the possibility of providing government subsidies for such research centers with the Chief Minister and the Minister for Science and Technology. Prominent researcher Prof. Saptarshi Chaudhuri expressed his appreciation, noting that it is commendable to see a ‘Quantum Computer Research Center’—typically found only in metro cities—being established in a rural area like Moodlakatte. *Mr. Siddhartha J. Shetty, Chairman of IMJ Institutions, presided over the event and extended his best wishes to everyone. **Dr. Parnika Das, Scientific Officer at VECC Kolkata, was present as a chief guest. *Dr. Satyajit, Director of IMJIR, detailed the journey and development of the research center. During the event, participating students shared their experiences. *Dr. S.N. Bhat, Academic Director of the institution, welcomed the gathering, and **Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Director of Brand Building, proposed the vote of thanks. Professor *Rajeshwari Shetty compered the program.  and Dr.Nikila Pai co-ordinated the program.
