Research & Development (R & D refers to innovative activities undertaken by corporations or governments in developing new services or products, or improving existing services or products. Research and development constitutes the first stage of development of a potential new service or product.

Research & Development (R & D) is a set of strategic, proactive, catalytic, and capacity-building activities designed to facilitate individual faculty members, teams of researchers, and central research administrations in attracting extramural research funding, creating relationships, and developing and implementing strategies that increase institutional competitiveness

Director - R & D Profile

Dr. Abdul Kareem holds M.Tech in Microelectronics & Control Systems and Ph. D in Electronics & Communication Engineering. He is a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA. He has 15 years of teaching experience and 8 years of research experience. He has to his credit three patents. He has more than 25 research papers in reputed international journals/conferences and authored three text books. He has served as a resource person in many Faculty Development Programs and student motivation programs. He has the experience of heading the student Research and project activities and many student groups have achieved national and international level recognition under his guidance. He has fruitful administrative experience heading various departments and as Vice Principal and Principal in reputed Engineering colleges.

If a lesson has to be productive, we need to make sure that the students actually absorb the topic. This being at the backdrop has helped us to understand the academic programme to engage and hold students attention by preparing them to face the competitive world. We embrace newer technologies such as smart classrooms, tablets and computers into our academic purpose.
